Winnotek is the French consulting entity selected by the European Patent Office (EPO) to participate in a collaborative project running from September 2016 to June 2017: a teaching compilation designed by the EPO for the benefit of European startups and SME’s. This book, published by the EPO on epo.org/sme in September 2017, compiles fifteen case studies covering European SME’s who adopted efficient IP strategies, it positions these strategies in the context of the future unified European patent , and offers for each case study a selection of “best practices” suggested by the SME itself as a feedback from its own success.
These comprehensive collaborative works are nowadays also published in the December 2017 issue of « Les Nouvelles », official magazine of Licensing Executives Society International (LESI); case studies and best practices will thus be accessible to more than 10 000 European managers of small and medium businesses. They will find there a source of knowledge to master daily intellectual property issues, allowing them to leverage their intangible assets toward success of their innovation strategy.
Winnotek’s specific contribution consists in the drafting by Pierre Ollivier, Managing Partner of Winnotek, of the « Webdyn » case study (French company) and by Philippe Simon, Partner, of the « Fractus » case study (Spanish company).
The online version of the comprehensive collaborative works is available on the website “site du LESI“.
