The bimonthly “Revue des Ingénieurs” serves all alumni from 3 French national Ecoles des Mines (Paris, St Etienne, Nancy). Each issue features an overivew of a specific sector, technology, market, or managerial theme. The March/April issue focuses on Intellectual Property: contributions to the overview come from French National patent office (INPI) , several patent counsel firms, and internationally recognized IP experts from major industrial groups. One is a licensing executive specializing in patent pools in the multimedia sector, the other is an aerospace standardization specialist, convenor of the ongoing ISO TC 279 workgroup tasked with Innovation and IP, facing a strong Chinese delegation with an aggressive agenda.
Philippe Simon, partner at Winnotek and member of the Revue des Ingénieurs’ editorial committee, is the coordinator of this overview and author of its opening presentation.
